I made Ruby's birthday party dress this year. I didn't use a pattern, but just created some ruffles and a boatneck top. I was pleased with the way it came out and Ruby even called it a 'princess dress.'My inspiration was a princess dress that my mom made for me as a Halloween costume when I was younger (see pic). My mom was and is such a creative person...always so full of neat ideas!
