Last year, Ruby wasn't walking so she couldn't really take part in an egg hunt. This year, after being to 4 egg hunts in recent weeks, she was starting to get it. She knows that plastic eggs sometimes have fun things inside.She still didn't understand that the goal is to put as many eggs as possible into your basket. She preferred to open each one, and check the contents before discarding the two shells on the ground.
So, for this year's family egg hunt, Kate and I scurried about the yard helping locate eggs and motivating kiddos to put them into their baskets.
We had such a nice day with Alex's family!
