I spent this Mother's Day with Ruby and the Robersons at the Renaissance Festival. It was so nice to be outside and to watch Ruby's face light up with excitement from all her interesting surroundings. I think that is one of my favorite parts of being a mother ...being able to introduce my daughter to new things, new places, new people, new foods, sounds and smells. It is so rewarding to see her so eager to soak up her world. I know my mom did the same for me because I remain to this day very curious and interested in exploring new places and experiences.
