Alex had a short business trip to Austin so Ruby and I joined him.We had lunch at Hula Hut which is a super cute restaurant on piers over the water. They had interesting fusion food (I had Thai fajitas). Ruby loved watching the birds and fish from her prime seat!
We stayed at an Embassy Suites which brings back fond memories from my childhood. They have open courtyards and we knew Ruby would love seeing the fish and fountains in lobby! We also got to take advantage of their indoor swimming pool.While we were in Austin we were able to see both of my brothers who are living there (well, Allan is now headed off to Alaska). We ate at a fun casual patio place called Shady Grove. Ruby had a nice time visiting with her Goodell uncles. I was really glad to see my brothers and hear about their adventures. What neat guys!
