Saturday we went over to the Ebarbs to help celebrate their son Peyton's second birthday. They had a petting zoo (which seems to be THE thing to have at birthday parties nowadays!) so Ruby got to visit with all sorts of animals such as turtles, goats, rabbits, a horse, and chickens. Here she is with a turtle (and she happens to have just the right turtle dress for the occasion!)

We gave Ruby a whole strawberry for the first time. She proceeded to eat it like an apple. I was so nervous she was going to choke, but she did ok.
The Ebarbs had a really fun party...complete with a cool train cake...notice the train conductor hats the kids are wearing. How neat! Happy birthday Peyton.
