Laura - 38 weeks pregnant

I'm near the end...thank goodness. This picture was taken last week when I was 38 weeks pregnant. I'm starting to get very uncomfortable and experiencing a lot of rib pain. It feels like the baby has no more room to grow! Looking forward to meeting baby boy soon.

Portraits of Ruby - 30 months

Alex took these great portraits of Ruby (30 months) with the new lens.

I can't believe she is two and a half now. She surprises us everyday with her vocabulary and random bits of knowledge. She likes to sing, dance and paint. She plays babies, and cooks things for me in her kitchen. She is starting to recognize a few letters of the alphabet and we have back and forth conversations (sometimes we talk about bugs and which ones are nice...ladybugs, grasshoppers, etc.). She continues to be very sociable - she plays really well alongside her buddies and makes new friends at the playground very easily. Alex and I feel so lucky to have such a sweet daughter.

Ruby's hair update - 30 months

Ruby's hair is getting longer bit by bit. It seems to have a lot more blonde to it lately.

Ruby really enjoys having her nails painted. I found a lighter shade of pink that looks really cute on her.
