Digging in the dirt

Ruby loves to dig in the dirt. Alex and I just planted these flowers in our back flower bed and Ruby had a blast shovelling through the fresh dirt.





And she was pretty content to stay in the sandbox at the park one day.

More playground fun!

The weather had been just perfect for exploring all the nearby playgrounds.


Ruby loves having the freedom to climb...although this makes me a little nervous!

Package for Ruby

My mom sent Ruby a fun Halloween book in the mail. It had all sorts of neat fold out pieces...Ruby loved the package! Thanks mom.

Annette's Shower

I hosted a small baby shower for my good friend Annette who will soon have her second child. We can't wait to meet little Sofia!





I went with a girly pumpkin theme and the decorations came out cute...





I made pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese icing...

Visit from the Goodell Grandparents

A few weekends ago my parents came in town for a short visit. They got to spend time with Ruby and we all went out for dinner. I wish they were closer so we could see them more often!

I made her this tutu and shirt just for the occasion.

Meeting Allison

Alex, Ruby and I took some dinner over to my friend Jennifer who just had her baby girl, Allison in the last week. She is beautiful! I forgot what it was like to hold such a tiny baby.

Ruby also got to visit with Thomas who is one of buddies from our playgroup.
