Parker's birthday

Sunday we went to Parker Ebarb's 4th birthday party at a place with various jump houses! Of course Ruby is a bit young to do everything, but we had fun watching...and Alex and I even went on some of the slides!

Ruby swims with her daddy

Today we did another swimming orientation and this time it was Alex's turn to enjoy the fun. Some girls from our playgroup also got their husbands to take the babies in the water. We had a great time and I can't wait for the lessons to start! I got lots of really good pictures of Alex and Ruby together...here are a few.

Finally a breakthrough - Ruby eats!

After 3 months of trying to feed Ruby puree foods we've finally had a breakthrough. About 2 to 3 weeks ago she started eating stuff! She likes bananas, squash, sweet potato, carrots and peas, but dislikes apple sauce and pears. Here she is enjoying her morning mashed banana (with some applesauce I sneaked in!)

Rainy day at home

This past Thursday was rainy and Friday was super cold. So, we enjoyed nice cozy mornings at home.

Reading books.

Here's Ruby playing with the play set Auntie Kate gave her.

Ruby swims again!

Today we did a free swimming class trial at a swim school with several babies from our playgroup. It was so much fun. Ruby was so much more relaxed than when we did swimming lessons in London when she was 10 weeks old. We think we will start lessons in a month or so.

Alex's mom's birthday dinner

Friday night we went to dinner with Alex's parents and the Robersons to celebrate his mom's birthday. Ruby was well behaved (due in large part to cheerios and eating a banana through a mesh bag).

Ruby meets Avery (3 weeks)

Last week I visited my friend Jess and met her daughter Avery who was born only 3 weeks ago. Ruby was very curious about the tiny baby.
