Video - Ruby tries out new sounds

Ruby is really exploring her voice and all the strange sounds she can make. She started with lots of 'whoo whoos' and now she is trying out high-pitched screeches and grunting/growling type noises. Here is a short video of her talking to me about her day.

Ruby really enjoys riding on the London Underground. She likes to sit on my lap and stare at all the interesting strangers.

Evening pint at the Earl Spencer

Alex and I enjoyed a pint at the Earl Spencer and fed Ruby her last bottle of the night.

Alex's parents visit London

Alex's mom and dad came to London for a short visit and to meet Ruby.



One day we walked along the South Bank and enjoyed lunch at a pub.

Another day we met them at the White Horse pub in Parsons Green.

Video - Chatty in the morning and evenings

Ruby continues to babble more and more everyday. She is especially chatty first thing in the morning and at the end of the day. It is quite tricky to capture this on film - as soon as she sees the camera she usually just gives a blank stare! But this morning I managed to hold it to the side and sneakily caught her whooooing and cooing! Lunch with our lovely landlady

Our landlady, Angela, and her mother invited us over for a traditional Iranian lunch at their house. It was delicious and we had a nice visit.

Ruby had a decent swimming lesson today...it included 'jumping from the side' and being 'pushed through the water.'
