Sunny Day BBQ in Southfields

Saturday we had a small BBQ and Leah, Leah's cousin and our neighbors Jerry, Emmanuel and their daughter, Chloe, came over to meet Ruby. Ruby got all dressed up in her party dress and loved being outside for the
afternoon.

Our first baby massage class

Yesterday Ruby and I went to our first baby massage class. She really seemed to enjoy it. Afterwards she slept for 4 solid hours, woke up to eat and then slept again for another 4 hours. The rest of the day and that night she was really relaxed. I can't wait til the next session.

Ruby at 4 weeks

Ruby is now 4 weeks old! The time has really flown and we are slowly settling into a routine (well, somewhat at least!) She is sleeping for about 4 hours inbetween feeds. Here are a few pictures of her yawning.

Look who is smiling now!

At nearly four weeks old, Ruby is starting to have longer awake and alert periods. Sometimes we catch her making faces. I caught a few smiles today...Ok, maybe it is just gas, but it is still cute!

Ruby loves London public transport

Once we get going in the pram, Ruby is lulled to sleep. The street sounds, sirens, bus noises do not bother her one bit! Yesterday we took the bus to High Street Kensington so my work folks could meet Ruby. She slept most of the time we were out! Must have been hearing all those city sounds while in my belly.

Ruby likes black and white books

We have discovered a good way to distract Ruby while she is getting her diaper changed...black and white image books. She stares at them intently...especially the bird and flower pictures.
