Ruby tries peanut butter

I have been so nervous to give Ruby peanut butter due to all the concerns about allergic reactions. However, I finally let her have some and she didn't have any problems. She loved it!

Here she is enjoying a sandwich...

While Alex and I enjoyed some fantastic Indian food at a restaurant we discovered in Dallas. It was delicious...I miss all the good Indian food we had easy access to in London.

Afterwards, we walked around the Galleria and Ruby got to watch the ice skaters.

Allison's birthday

Ruby and I went to my friend Katie's daughter's 1st birthday party.

We played outside with balls.

And colored sidewalk chalk.

I made the birthday girl this tutu and hairbow as our gift.

Happy birthday Alex!

Happy birthday Alex!

I made him his favorite chocolate raspberry cake...

Alex's mom made a delicious shrimp supper for us the weekend before his birthday.

Gymnastics fun

Ruby and I have been taking a gymnastics class with Lori and Maddie. We sing songs, roll across the floor, climb on equipment, swing on the monkey bars and... Ruby's favorite- the balance beam!

Here the teacher helps her across the narrow beam...

Then Ruby tries it on her own on a wider beam. She was so proud of herself and wanted to do it again and again!

Ruby likes spending time with her friend Maddie climbing on everything.

One day we went to a playground after class...

Sunny afternoon at the park

Ruby and I went to one of our favorite parks for some playtime on a sunny afternoon.

She got to jump on the drawbridge...

And study her shadow...

She loves the playground!

Pink playdate

Ruby and I went to a pink playdate with some of her buddies. We helped the kids to decorate crowns with pink hearts on them. It was a nice day so we played outside.

Trip to the zoo

Ruby and I went to the zoo with some friends. She got to visit with her buddy Thomas and look at all the animals.
