Ruby gets a new SLIDE!!!

At one of our recent playdates there was a really neat slide that all the kiddos loved. I researched them online and we decided to get one for Ruby. She has been climbing on everything lately, so I think it is perfect for helping her burn off all that toddler energy.

We will keep inside in the playroom.

She is so proud of herself when she gets to the top. Look at that smirk!

She kept going up and down the slide, over and over and over again.

It comes with a basketball, soccer ball and football. Alex has already taught her how to put the basketball in the hoop. She also likes to roll the balls down the slide.

Bows and Dresses

I've been practicing my sewing this week.

I can't seem to find cute babydoll clothes...so I made Ruby's babydoll a dress...to coordinate with a dress I sewed for Ruby!

I sewed this dress with flower corsage for a friend of mine.

And I made this birthday hairbow for a 1st birthday party I went to this past weekend.

Jennifer's baby shower

My friend Jennifer is having her second child in a month or so. Our baby group hosted a baby shower for her this past week.

She is going with a butterfly theme in her nursery so I made her this diaper cake.

I also made her this mom-to-be corsage to wear at the baby shower.

Playdate at Maddie's house

Ruby went to her friend Maddie's house for a playdate.

She loved riding on the horse!

The kiddos at play!

Ruby takes care of her babies

Ruby has shown an interest in her babies for a while now, but now she does more things with them.

This past week I bought the classic disappearing milk baby bottles for her and she now knows how to feed the babies.

And we made little 'beds's for the babies and she can say night night to them and put their blankets on.

Here she is with the babydoll that her Auntie Ralena gave her for Christmas.

Deep in conversation with her newest babydoll.

Playdate at Jasper's house

Ruby and I went to a playdate at Jasper's house recently and she had a blast trying out all his toys!

The cozy coupe car was very popular. Ruby and her friend, Maddie, were constantly battling it out to get inside.

The other popular item was the Step 2 sports slide. Look at all the kids trying to get on! They loved it!

Visit with Grandma Macnab

Ruby and I visited her grandmother last week. We walked around the duck ponds (in the drizzling rain) and went to lunch. Such a nice morning out!
