Morning at the Botanic Gardens

Alex, Ruby and I went to the Botanic Gardens recently. It is one of my favorite parks/outdoor areas to visit.

The scenery makes a great setting for photos.

Ruby and mama.

This rock is the perfect perching spot for Ruby. Look at those long legs!

Ruby talking to us, most likely telling us about the ducks and fish she saw.

Ruby learns how to use a fork

Alex and I went out to dinner and while there Ruby kept begging for our forks. So, we gave one to her. She surprised us by stabbing at her food and putting it into her mouth!

Ahhh, success!

Alice in Wonderland Exhibit

Lori and I went to the Gaylord Texan to see the Alice in Wonderland Exhibit. It was really neat!

We had a nice morning stroll around and took lots of pictures.

Ruby looked super cute in the dress that Mrs. Hendricks gave her for her birthday!

Us gals in front of one of the many displays.

Ruby and her friend Maddie check out the neat scenery.

Brunch with the Macnabs and Taxi picture

Sunday morning we had brunch with Alex's family. Mrs. Macnab made some delicious breakfast burritos.

Afterwards we recreated the taxi picture.

Ruby and her cousin.

Bounce house playdate

Ruby and I met Lauren and Erin at a jump place for a morning playdate.

Ruby loved climbing on stuff.

Here are the girls enjoying the bounce house. We had the bounce house to ourselves for a while and so I didn't have to worry about Ruby getting trampled.

Ruby and I went down the slide a few times. I think I had nearly as much fun as she did!

Noah's birthday party

Sunday we went to Noah's birthday party. Lauren did an amazing job with everything. It was the most creative and pretty kids' party I have even been to. She did a neat owl theme with the sweetest little owl invites, the cutest own cupcakes and tabletop photo displays, and she handmade all the kiddos an owl puppet as a party favor.

It was a backyard pool party and Ruby had a blast.

She got to play with her friends on the slip and slide.

You can tell she loves the spraying feature.

Here's Noah with his parents.

Dinner with the Marshalls

Saturday night we met Jessica, Mark and their son Hudson for dinner at Brios in Southlake. Their food is delicious!

Afterwards we took a stroll around the Southlake Town Square. Ruby loves the fountains!
