Cute baby babble - VIDEO

Ruby has been much more talkative lately and is adding new sounds everyday. Her latest are isssh (which I like to think is her trying to say fish)...meow (which usually occurs when she holds her cat doll)...and bebebe (which usually happens when she holds her baby doll). And just last week when we were singing old macdonald has a farm...she made some sounds very close to ee-ii-ee-ii-oo. So cute!

Here is a bunch of miscellaneous babble from one of our car rides last week. Alex and I just smile, turn down the radio and listen to her.

UGH...Drink out of your sippee cup!

Ruby refuses to take a sippee cup. She likes to throw it on the floor...and feed it bits of food off her tray! I have bought 5 different ones, and she just refuses! I know we'll get there eventually!

Another spray park playdate!

Last week Jennifer (and her son, Thomas) and Lori (and her daughter, Maddie) came over for lunch and a playdate at the spray park down the street. It is such a good way to cool off in the Texas heat!

Ruby at swim class

We have been taking swim lessons since the end of February and this session finishes up next week. Here are a few pics from one of our last classes. Strangely Ruby has finished the classes a bit more nervous about the water than when we began. However, with all our trips to the spray park and pools, I bet she will soon be more relaxed.

And here is our whole class...

Ruby pushes her walker - VIDEO

I've been trying for some time to convince Ruby how fun her walker is. She didn't believe me...until last week! Here she is showing daddy her new skill!

Morning playtime at home

Here's Ruby enjoying morning playtime at the house. She loves her little people farm and dollhouse because they make so many neat sounds!

Grrrrr....

Here's Ruby playing with her stacking cups (one of her favorite things...and also one of my best purchases - only $1!) and her tea set. Her Grandpa Macnab made her this toychest for her birthday.

Northpark shopping trip with the gals

Ruby and I met Lori, Maddie, Sarah and Verity at Northpark mall for lunch and a walk around. Here are the girls sitting comfortably in their strollers.
