Fun, fun in the November sun
After a few years in the dreary, cold, rainy London weather, we were so looking forward to Texas warmth! Luckily, September and October were beautiful...And, now, even in November it still feels like summer. It means we can go out for walks in the park, grill in the evenings and Ruby can enjoy laying under the trees watching the fall leaves flutter. Here she is chillin' in the back yard...

Hendricks visit
Last weekend John, Sabrina and Benjamin came over for burgers and to watch the Cowboys game. Alex got to test out his new grill (so much easier than charcoal!!!)
Benjamin was very eager to hold Ruby, feed her and push her in her swing...he will be such a fantastic big brother (once baby Jackson arrives next February!)
(Uh...Ruby looks like she is the same size as 3 year-old Benjamin in this pic!!!)

Ruby's first halloween...as a sweet pea!
Saturday we joined the Robersons at Stacy's (Allen's sister) house for a halloween gettogether and trick-or-treating. Their neighborhood was very festive with decorations, a haunted house and lots of trick-or-treaters.

Ruby was especially cute as a sweet pea on her first halloween!

Fantastic fall day at Canton
Saturday we took a short road trip to Canton, a world famous flea market with antiques, crafts and lots of junk! I've been going to Canton with my family since I was a baby and I have lots of fond memories of going there as a kid.
Since it was a warm and sunny day I decided it would be the perfect opportunity to introduce Ruby to one of my favorite fall outings.
Here are a few random shots that capture what Canton is!
Corn dogs...YUM!

And other exotic cuisine available...

Lots of rusty bits and pieces...

Yard art galore...

Nostalgia...

Pure randomness...like a guy carrying some longhorns with a confederate flag in the background...

Horse saddles...

Street signs...

And so many other wierd and wonderful things!
