Video - Chatty in the morning and evenings

Ruby continues to babble more and more everyday. She is especially chatty first thing in the morning and at the end of the day. It is quite tricky to capture this on film - as soon as she sees the camera she usually just gives a blank stare! But this morning I managed to hold it to the side and sneakily caught her whooooing and cooing! Lunch with our lovely landlady

Our landlady, Angela, and her mother invited us over for a traditional Iranian lunch at their house. It was delicious and we had a nice visit.

Ruby had a decent swimming lesson today...it included 'jumping from the side' and being 'pushed through the water.'

Alex came along today to watch and take some pics.

Dinner with Brenda, Matt and Roman

Brenda invited us over for a lovely Italian meal at their flat. We enjoyed dinner and a chat in their conservatory, and the guys ended the evening playing Mario Cart on the Wii.

While we were there, Roman and Ruby got to visit on the sofa. Oh, how cute, 'holding hands'...

Lately, Ruby has been making an increasing variety of noises... and she likes to 'talk' back and forth with us. Tonight, after a long day out and about in London (including getting her American social security number and passport-woo hoo!), she was especially chatty.

Ruby loves to blow bubbles

Ruby has been blowing bubbles for weeks now. Sometimes she gets a really good cluster of them going.

Sunday afternoon at the pub

We met Lesley, Neil and their baby Holly, along with several other moms, dads and babies at a pub in Earlsfield. It was a warm, bright sunny afternoon so we sat outside in the garden and enjoyed a pint.
